Built to take the data entry out of bookkeeping

FinScope started with a problem we kept running into. Bank statements arrive as PDFs, someone copies them into a spreadsheet line by line, and by the time that is done the spreadsheet is already out of date. It is slow for a business owner trying to see where the money went, and slower still for an accountant doing the same job for every client, every month.

So we built something that reads the statements directly. You upload what you have, FinScope pulls out the transactions, checks they match the balances the bank printed, and adds them to a history you can search and export. It is not an accounting system and is not trying to be one. It takes care of the data entry so you, or your accountant, can spend the time on everything else.
